If you are here then, first and foremost we apologize for your loss. We understand that the grief process is hard and there is no time frame of grieving.
Here is a brief summary of our process:
A Cremation Ring is made from ashes and crushed opal. Once the ashes are received (info on packaging and shipping below), you will get an email assuring you your loved one arrived safely. Your choice of opal color(s) will be crushed to specific sizes to fit your ring setting. Your loved ones ashes will be in the best care and turned into a beautiful piece of jewelry you can cherish forever. Please note these rings are stainless steel and plated. When wearing the jewelry please be sure to not use an excessive amount of lotion or perfumes on the jewelry. Over time it will wear down the plating.
Choosing Your Opal Color:
Located in the photos there is a list of Opals labeled: OP1-OP78
When you place your order please be sure to email us at:
with a note of your chosen Opal color. Two colors can be chosen, or as many as you would like. Each additional color aside from the one that comes with the ring, is an additional $5 charge that will be discussed in email exchange.
Please send 1/2 teaspoon of the ashes to:
The Vinyl Chick, LLC
1410 Buttonwillow Trail
Processing times for rings from start to finish are 2-3 weeks. Once the ashes are scooped place them in a small brand new ziplock baggie. Be sure to remove any excess air. Roll the baggie up and then place it in another small ziplock baggie. Make sure air is released. Write your name on the bag in a sharpie. When mailing DO NOT use a padded envelope of any kind. To ensure the ashes arrive safely they need to be in a box. Box size does not matter. A small box can be put into a padded envelope if desired. When your order is complete I will send you an email letting you know your ring is finished and any remaining ashes will be sent back to you as well.
